The Vintage Pearl - Review and Giveaway! (CLOSED)

Sentimental. Heart-lifting. Inspiring. Treasured. Unique. Tranquil. Beautiful. Simple.

These are just a few of the words I would use to describe the jewelry of The Vintage Pearl. Each piece, hand stamped to perfection, creates an original heirloom that is meant to be cherished and treasured forever.

 As a mother, what appealed most to me about the The Vintage Pearl, was the ability to put all my loved one's name on a piece of jewelry that I can wear close to my heart! I could wear it at all times- at home, at play, at work, and know that a part of them was always with me to help me through my day. And ever since my original hand-stamped necklace arrived, I find myself reaching for it-tracing it with my fingers-and feeling content that it is there, representing those that I love so much.

Our Family Nest: Of all the pieces that are offered on The Vintage Pearl website, my eye was drawn to "Our Family Nest" necklace. It is as beautiful as the picture shows, with each bird delicately placed into position on a branch. It fit me as a person, as it tied in my love for nature with the love I share for my family. The necklace arrived in a beautiful little gift bag, making it feel special from the start! I peered at it for some time before I touched it with my hands as though touching it would ruin its beauty! I went straight to a mirror to put it on and admire. I didn't speak a word of the necklace to my family members, as I wanted to see how long it would take for them to notice. My husband noticed straight away and then my daughter. She had to read each name on it outloud, and when she came to her own name, she smiled big and said "that's me", which immediately put a smile on my heart!


I wore the necklace on vacation and received many compliments and each time, I boosted with pride where it originated! There is such a great feeling about believing in a company and the products they offer. With The Vintage Pearl, one doesn't have to look long to understand why this company is worthy of spreading the word!  Here are some of there other wonderful designs that captured my eye and heart....

As one can see, there is something that reaches out and touches you when you visualize your own loved one's name or initial on a piece of hand-stamped jewelry! The Vintage Pearl is a place I will return to for gifts for my loved ones, as I know it will be a gift that will keep on giving!

What is great about The Vintage Pearl is that each piece is fully customizable. From the font used, to the design stamp and some pieces even allow for a choice of chain length! 

"We use only the finest materials in our hand stamped jewelry, every piece is entirely made of sterling silver, from the chains to the jump rings, unless otherwise noted in the description."

Caring for your treasured work of art is simple. Simply use the cleaning cloth (sample provided) and a sterling silver cleaner to polish it to a beautiful shine! It is suggested to not get the lettering wet, as it can cause fading. 

The Vintage Pearl also carries products for men and keepsake items as well assuring something for the whole family!

The Good: The hand-stamped pieces show attention to detail and become a cherished piece as each one is customizable to your specifications! It allows for a unique gift and is suitable for all ages. I like the fact that most of the necklaces give the option for chain length. I used the standard 18" for the necklace I chose and being a larger gal, it felt a little restricting. I simply used my own chain extender to give me the length that felt more comfortable to me.

The Bad: The chain-although sterling silver-broke the first week of wearing. Now, let it be known that I constantly have children hanging from my neck pulling me to and fro, and I don't feel this reflects on the quality of the chain itself. Just be aware that it might not hold up to heavy wear. I plan on purchasing a bit thicker chain as I don't want to risk losing my cherished "Our Family Nest"!
